Compiled by the Library of the Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI), the Index to Antarctic Programmes is intended to provide one-touch access to information about the national Antarctic programmes, their websites, publications and photographs. Publications and photographs are retrieved by searches run on the Institute's databases SPRILIB Antarctica and Polar Pictures respectively. These databases may also be searched separately.
The Index to Antarctic Programmes aims to provide extensive rather than comprehensive coverage of publications for national programmes (both about and resulting from the activities of these programmes), together with selective coverage of relevant photographs (limited to the holdings of the SPRI Picture Library).
