Research

My research is focused on the spatial and temporal variability of the Nansen surface river, East Antarctica, and the implications of this on the stability of the Nansen Ice Shelf. Using remote sensing and numerical flow modelling, I am researching variability in how the surface river exports meltwater off of the ice shelf, the response of the ice shelf to this, and I seek to evaluate the potential evolution of the surface river into an ice shelf estuary.
