Martin French MSc Econ

Martin French MSc Econ

Library Assistant

Biography

Although starting his academic career in the field of medieval literature, Martin realised that he was more interested in helping others find the books and knowledge needed for their own projects. This prompted him to start his library master's degree with Aberystwyth and to get involved with academic libraries.

Martin is still responsible for the clerical side of the library, assisting other library staff with the day-to-day running of the library. However, he is also responsible for ordering and adding new items to the Library Catalogue. He is also involved in various library projects. He is also interested in teaching information and research skills to students, academics and the world at large.
