Biography

Naomi Chapman has over twenty years teaching experience in nursery, primary and middle school education combined with paid and voluntary work in the museum sector. Developing and maintaining strong relationships between both sectors is a key part of Naomi's role. As a skilled communicator, she is keen to use the collections and research at the Scott Polar Research Institute to inspire children and adults alike. Ever creative, Naomi is always keen to learn something new.

Together, Naomi Chapman and Rosie Amos make up the Polar Museum Education team.

  • 2003 - 2005 National Professional Qualification of Headship, National College for Schools Leadership
  • 1990 – 1991 PGCE, University of Cambridge
  • 1987 – 1990 BA Honours History, University of York
