A brass sighting tube that accompanies the sextant made by Heath & Co. Ltd. The sextant was used for navigation by Captain Frank Worsley on the James Caird during the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1914-16 (Endurance), and was rescued from the lifeboat by Huberht Hudson, the expedition's navigator.
