A copy of Douglas Mawson's tunic, dated 1912, with a Burberry label and 'Orde Lees' written above in pencil. It was made for the 2002 film 'Shackleton' starring Kenneth Branagh.

Physical description:

A beige tunic (pullover-style) with a round neck and collar. It is made from a single layer of cloth. It has a drawstring neck and hem, the first with a white twisted cord drawstring and the second with a white plaited cord drawstring. Each sleeve has two round tortoiseshell plastic buttons and a strap with a buttonhole. Inside the neck is a textile label reading 'Burberry's // REGD // MADE IN ENGLAND' and the name 'ORDE LEES' has been written in pencil. The tunic has been deliberately covered with dirt.
