An empty bottle of 'Arctica' pale ale with a picture of Tom Crean on the front, brewed and bottled for the Endurance Brewing Company by the Mercury Brewing and Distribution Company, Inc. of Ipswich, Massachusetts.

Physical description:

An empty brown glass beer bottle. There is a paper label on the front with a portrait of Tom Crean, with the text 'ARCTICA // PALE ALE // ENDURANCE BREWING COMPANY // EXPLORE, CHALLENGE, DRINK GREAT BEER'. The label also summarises the events of the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1914-16 (Endurance). The bottom edge of the bottle is moulded 'N34 NO REFILL 09 MQ-1 33'.
