Handling collections

Handling collections

Bring polar education to life by borrowing a handling collection.

Handling collections are free to borrow for one working week (Monday-Friday).

You will need to collect the handling collection/s within office hours, 9am-5pm on the Monday and return them to us by 5pm on the Friday.

The clothing bags are quite heavy, so you will need to collect them by car or taxi. You will be able to park temporarily in the staff car park. Directions on how to get to the Polar Museum at the Scott Polar Research Institute are available.
