A Snowy Petrel egg, cream-coloured with sparse green-brown mottling. The drilled hole is 7mm in diameter. The egg is marked '4' in pencil; and an accompanying handwritten paper label reads 'Snowy Petrel // Nunatak on S.E. Corner Alexander Land // Dec 1949 // H.F.'
