Full description:

a: A rectangular plywood box with a hinged lid (two metal hinges, hinged along the short end). The box stands on four wooden feet, and has metal runners along the long edges at the base. The lid is fastened cosed with two leather straps which fit over metal pins. The box is divided into three compartments with wooden compartments and contains packing paper and reinforced paper tape, a roll of black electrical tape (c), wiring (d), nuts/bolts/washers (e) and other fixings (f).

b: A milliamperes gauge, consisting of a black circular casing with a white face and glass front. The face is marked with a scale from 0 to 120, 'MILLIAMPERES' above the scale, and 'MOVING COIL // 1958 // THERMO-COUPLE', 'SX // Fe&NFe' and '[broad arrow] 5Q/10981 // No. H18614' below the scale. There are three holes around the edge of the casing. The gauge is secured to a plastic board, which has a circuit and light bulb on the back.
