Full description:

Ivory (walrus tusk) curves and tapers towards a rounded point. Flat surface on each side and concave underside. Side view of polar bear and seal carved in relief on one side at flat end. Downturned head of polar bear meets upstretched head of seal. Side view of seal is carved in relief 125 mm from rounded end. Five syllabics are carved in relief between figures: inverted L; inverted U; L; side U; hook. Three walrus are carved in relief on opposite surface at flat end. Ears and eyes of polar bear are carved on rounded end.
