Full description:

a: Ring-and-pin. Carved (a) from ivory into a "bear figure" (Mathiassen 1928: 219) with extended head, wedge-shaped body and downturned flattened oval hind section. Four holes are drilled on head, two on each side of body, ten on underside, six at oval end, and two on rear. One end of twisted sinew cord is threaded and knotted through two holes on bear's back.

Opposite end of sinew is wound and tied around mid-section of ivory pin (b). Pin is triangular at proximal end and tapers to a point at distal end.
