Made from a single piece of ivory. Flat-bottomed kayak is widest at mid-section and tapers towards sharply pointed bow and stern. Upper part of human figure is carved at mid-section facing the bow. Eyes and mouth are incised on circular face framed by parka hood. Right hand is raised holding the shaft of a harpoon. Double-bladed paddle and raised cross-hatched circle |
