A piece of woven red textile, from a flag, in a gold-painted metal frame with a card back and metal stand. There is a handwritten paper label inside the front edge of the frame reading 'Piece of the flag hoisted at the S. Pole by Capt. R.F. Scott R.N. 1912'. Handwritten on the back of the frame is 'Capt. Sir David Wilson Barker'. |
