T-shaped blade with rounded ends (one end broken) is made from a single piece of metal (iron?). Circular hole through centre of blade. Metal tang is inserted between two rectangular pieces of bone and secured with three metal (iron?) rivets. Proximal end is inserted into rectangular hole in centre of semi-circular bone handle and secured with a metal (iron?) wedge. Circular hole one side of handle. |
