Handle is made from a single piece of bone. Rectangular shaft tapers to a rounded point at proximal end. Four U-shaped depressions on underside to accomodate the fingers. End of single-edged metal (iron) blade is fitted into rectangular depression on one side of distal end of handle and is secured with four circular metal (iron) rivets. |
