A long-handled flensing knife with a wide, curved blade. The blade is stamped 'AAE'. The tang goes inside the wooden handle and is riveted in place, and secured with a metal ferrule. The handle is oval in cross section, with the initials 'JS' carved at the end. The words 'ABRAHAM // LARSEN // CABIN // 88' have been painted in black, below which are nine signatures. The handle has been varnished. |
