A pair of fur shorts (fur-side out), made of dog skin. They are made primarily of four strips of skin with different coloured fur (black and white, dark brown and white, and light brown and white).The fur has been left untrimmed at the ends. There is a folded strip of blue textile around the waistband to create a tube for the white cord drawstring. The shorts are stamped on the inside with 'GRESSHOPPA' and a grasshopper symbol, and with 'NORSK POLARINSTITUT'. |
