Full description: |
An antler toggling harpoon head with two barbs, one forming either side of the rounded distal end of the antler component. The iron blade is narrower than the head with a small tang visible where it is socketed into the head. The blade is fixed to the head with a copper rivet through the tang and visible on both sides of the distal end of the antler component. Below the barbs two perforations have been made through the head for attaching the harpoon line. The terminal end of the head is socketed to fit onto a harpoon foreshaft. |
