Space for seventeen rounds of ammunition is made in a single green outer strip of leather with two double bands of white leather along their length. The whole is backed with red and white gingham on the inner-facing surface. Made for and collected by Professor Lawrence Rickard and Phyllis Wager during the British East Greenland Expedition, 1935-36. | ||||||

A red leather cartridge belt with white and green leather trim fastened with a wooden button stitched to belt with sinew. Space for seventeen rounds of ammunition is made in a single green outer strip of leather with two double bands of white leather along their length stitched on with cotton thread. The whole is backed with red and white gingham on the inner-facing surface stitched in with cotton. |
