Title: The Bjornbo Valley and the Southern Staunings Alps from the Bjornbo Camp, NE Greenland
Description: Robert Burton, the Arcturus leader, moved the expedition to a subsidiary camp overlooking the entrance to the Bjornbo Valley. During the trip northwards the group encountered many musk-oxen, with young, and several arctic skuas. The view into the Stauning Alps was most dramatic and dominated by the pinnacles and spires of the higher peaks.
