Seeking the best view of the islands in Segelsallskapet Fjord and the Staunings Alper the artist took a traverse south along the coast at about 100m, and eventually finished up above the cove shown on the right hand of the sketch. his offered good views of the "tramline" igneous intrusions on Jagmastarens Ø, and extensive views of the Syltoppens in the Staunings Alper. Only Mike and Diana Kavanagh ventured further along the coast in this direction. |
