Title: |
Ravnedalen and bergstrewn Inderbredningen from Fangersund island, Dove Bugt, NE Greenland, August 2006 |
Description: |
The expedition members were ferried by Zodiac to the Fangersund Island to the north of their subsidiary camp. the sketch title wrongly names the valley shown as Ravnedalen; it is, in fact, the parallel valley to Ravnedalen to the south. The only Inuit archaeological feature found by the expedition was a fox trap. They did, however, see snow hare and ptarmigan, and even a polar bear swimming offshore. |
