The sketch shows the canyon track from the Ravnedalen Base Camp down to the sandy beach. On this day 10 August we were taken by Zodiac to the northern side of Ravnedalen, which because it enjoyed sun all throught the day, contained many more flowering species. This was also the day that Bill Corner climbed the 1100m peak to the north; Peter Roberts accompanied him to the icy snowfield just below the peak. |
