On this day the artist walked eastwards from the Western Camp with David Shaw, surveying an Inuit sunken dwelling on the way to the now derelict Sverresborg trapping station. En route they encountered two herds of musk-oxen (7-8 musk-oxen in each herd), one of which came very clase to the trapping station. |
