Description: The artist did this sketch on the first full day at the Arcturus Vegasun Expedition's Base Camp, established by Robert Burton and Kathleen Cartwright, on the low coastal ridge facing GasØen Ø in vegasund. After finishing this sketch he went with Jean Stenico down to the bay, where they surveyed an Inuit Mixed Culture cummer settlement, with tent rings, fox-traps, caches and one possible sunken winter-house.
