Description: | The artist did this sketch at the end of the first day's trek south to the southern tip of Clavering Ø, Eskimonaes. The trek passed a natural flower garden of drabas, purple saxifrage and erigeron before reaching the intermediate camp at Nes-Odden at 7.30pm. There were several flocks of eider in Godthab Gulf. |
