Title: Trapper's hut, Kap Schumacher, North-East Greenland, August 2002.
Description: One of only two sketches in artist's Arctic collection not completed on site. The time spent in surveying the Inuit archaeological site on Kap Schumacher precluded him sitting down and doing this sketch, which was, in fact, done in his flat in Cheltenham from one of the B&W photographs he had taken of this historic hut, built by Norwegian trappers in 1932.
