Description: The views east and west from the subsidiary camp established by the Arcturus leaders, Kathleen Cartwright and Robert Burton, were equally impressive. This sketch shows the relatively easy beach walk which they had taken on their first day's walk to Kap Schumacher. Long-tailed skua dived on them on several sections of the route to Kap Schumacher
