Description: This sketch was drawn in the ruined trapper's hut, Svendsby. Because of light rain, even the roof leaked, and the artist had to cover the roof with his Gortex cagoule to prevent raindrops coming on to the ingres paper. While returning to the base camp he saw five members of the expedition reurning from their depot laying trip to the subsidiary camp which Kathleen Cartwright and Robert Burton, the leaders of the Lindeman Fjord Expedition, proposed to set up.
