A china plate with fluted edges, white with a royal blue line around the edge, a gold rim, and the crest of the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-04 (Discovery). On the underside is the manufacturer's mark in brown, 'DOULTON // BURSLEM // ENGLAND // Rd No 72[?]67'.
