Sir Ernest Shackleton's Endurance, 1914-16 |
Description: |
Pen and ink sketch of Sir Ernest Shackleton's Endurance amid the Antarctic ice. How served as an able seaman on Shackleton's expedition. He later joined the Merchant Navy and became an amateur artist, contributing illustrations for the Fishers' biography of Shackleton.
