Description: A pair of orange-red waterproof salopettes with built-in feet and elasticated braces. From the set of expedition kit used by Sir Ranulph Fiennes on the Transglobe Expedition 1979-82; however they are marked 'M. Stroud' and were probably used by him rather than Fiennes.

Full description:

A pair of orange-red waterproof salopettes with built-in feet. They have Velcro panels on either side of the waistband for adjusting the size, and a textile webbing strap with a Velcro fastening at each ankle. The crossed shoulder straps are of white elastic and have a black plastic adjustor. The name 'M. STROUD' is printed twice on the waistband.
