A white cloth pouch with a flap lid and textile tape ties. Inside the lid is a brown cloth panel with one metal needle with brown thread. The pouch itself contains: one small ball of pale blue wool; beige-brown thread on a card bobbin (marked 'WM. BARBOUR & SONS, Ltd. // No. 35 2 Cord // 50 YARDS'); and a paper packet containing three needles (marked 'THE // BRABANT // NEEDLE // CO. LTD. // REDDITCH // 1 DARNER // 4 SHARPS // NEEDLES // FOR // HOUSEWIVES // 1942'). |
