Description: A metal tin containing 25 'adexolin' (Vitamins A & D) capsules, manufactured by Glaxo Laboratories Ltd. of Greenford, Middlesex, in an outer cardboard box. Adexolin replaced medicinal cod-liver oil as an ingredient in sledging rations, with the usual dose being one capsule a day.

Full description:

tin: A rectangular metal tin with a hinged lid, containing Adexolin (vitamin A and D) capsules. The inside and outside of the lid and base of the tin are printed with red, gold and black text. The tin contains a foil packet, which presumably contains 25 capsules, and a paper leaflet explaining how Adexolin works and giving suggested dosages.
