Full description:

A pair of size 10 cream-coloured duffle inners (a = left; b = right). Each stocking is made of two pieces of cloth: one for the foot (seamed at the heel and toe) and one for the leg (seamed at the back). The seams are machine-stitched running stitch in beige thread. The top of the stocking has been folded over at the top and stitched to form a cuff. Both are stamped inside – (a) with '10L' and (b) with '10R'.
