Full description:

A dark brown leather case with a fawn-coloured textile lining for a pair of snow goggles (N: 878a). The lid flap is marked ‘Rowley & Co., Ltd. // Dispensing Opticians // Manchester & Branches’ in gold lettering, and tucks into a slit in the top/front of the case. There is a small hole piercing the lid, the purpose of which is unknown.
