Full description: |
A china side plate, white with a royal blue line around the edge, a gold rim, and the crest of the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-04 (Discovery). The crest has additional gilding in the sky. On the underside is the manufacturer's mark in blue, 'DOULTON // BURSLEM // ENGLAND' (this mark was used 1882–1902). It is also stamped 'DOULTON'.
