Full description:

A brown leather Mark VII polar climbing boot for the left foot. The boot has a leather upper, lower and bellows tongue, with a leather lining and insole, and a leather bootstrap at the heel to help pull the boot on and off. There is no cuff. The sole is made of layers of leather, with no tread, and is fixed in place with nails and stitching and one wooden peg. It is stamped 'HANDSEWN'. The lacing consists of seven pairs of eyelets cut into the leather (with no metal reinforcements). The brown laces are round and made of plaited cord and have metal ends. The stitching is in a natural fibre (such as waxed linen).
