A clear glass Kilner bottle with a ceramic top with a rubber seal and metal catch. The base is moulded ''K B Ld' // T'. There is handwritten paper museum label stuck to the side of the bottle reading: '230 Water sample bottle of the type commonly used by all British expeditions at present time (1930-40) // Presented by Brian Roberts'.
