Full description: |
A dog harness made of a pinky-red woven textile. The main body of the harness is made as a single continuous loop, with a textile strap across the shoulders to keep the harness in place. A piece of lampwick is attached across the back, with a leather loop attached to one end and space for a wooden toggle (now missing) to be attached to the other, to hold the harness firmly in place around the dog's chest. The ends of the main harness loop are attached to a metal swivel and stitched together and reinforced with leather, to which is attached a leather thong and a wooden toggle. A section of the left side of the main harness loop has been reinforced with a length of lampwick.
