A Primus stove (a) consisting of a gold-coloured metal fuel tank with a bellied base, a pump (used to pressurise the tank), and an air screw (used to release pressure from the tank), above which is a rising tube, spirit cup and burner assembly. The fuel tank is marked 'TRADE-MARK // PRI-MUS' and 'PRIMUS No 71 // MADE IN SWEDEN'. Attached to the burner with a metal chain is a spanner/key marked 'SWEDEN' and 'PRIMUS'. The windshield (b) consists of three-quarters of a metal cylinder with a partially covered top, into which the stove slots. There are holes around the back which can be closed with a sliding piece of metal. Halfway up the windshield on the inside are three metal arms which project into the centre. The top is marked in raised lettering with 'A/B B.A. HJORTH & CO. PRIMUS No 71 MADE IN SWEDEN' and the side is engraved/stamped 'PATENT // Sv. 74011'. The inner cooking pot (c) is made of aluminium and has a metal loop on either side to take the handle, and the lid has a metal loop on one side. The outer cooking (d) is made of aluminium and has a metal loop on either side to take the handle, through which the strap passes, and the lid has a metal loop on one side. The strap is made of beige textile and has a metal catch. The side of the pot is marked 'TRADE MARK // PRI-MUS // A/B B.A. HJORTH & CO. STOCKHOLM //MADE IN SWEDEN'. The handle (e) is made of metal and is bent at right angles at one end. The tin also contains a paper envelope containing prickers marked printed 'REG. TRADE MARK // PRIMUS // A/B B.A. HJORTH & Co // STOCKHOLM SWEDEN' and 'N:o 4608. // för app N:o 4, 34, 71, 651, 681, 820, 821, 823, 876, 877, 880, 889, 890.'; and an orange paper instruction leaflet (g) in English, French, Spanish, Swedish, German and Italian.
