Full description:

Cartridge. Made from a single piece of dehaired seal skin dyed black. Edges are bound with cream dehaired seal skin. Each end is overlaid with rectangular panel of alternating cream and dyed black seal skin secured to form 9 ridges for insertion of cartridges. Centre is decorated with skin mosaic in geometric motifs of 4 X repeated cross and diamond motifs in white, yellow and red skin flanked by four diamonds
