Full description:

A pair of eye-shades consisting of two black-painted metal funnel-shaped shades joined at one end with solder and in the middle with a metal bar. Each shade is made from a sheet of metal, with an extra piece of the eye piece. One shade is marked 'Discovery' and the other '1901'.
