Mallock & Sons. This type of chain was supplied to Base D (Hope Bay) and Base E (Stonington Island). The chain is stored in a cotton bag marked 'Camp and Sports Cooperators'. | ||||||||||

chain: A length of dog chain with a snap hook and swivel at one end and a ring at the other. The links are twisted, rather than flat, and there are two swivels in the chain. bag: A cream-coloured rectangular cotton bag with two cotton ties, printed in the bottom corner with 'CAMP AND SPORTS // COOPERATORS LTD. // LONDON, N.W.10'. |
