Full description:

An empty wooden ration box with a hinged lid (two hinges) and a metal catch on either side to hold the lid closed. The lid is stencilled in black with 'B.G.L.E. // SLEDGE RATIONS', and painted in red with 'SUG'. Each end is marked in black with '24'.
