Cambridge Quaternary |
Semi-informal University of Cambridge research group of people studying the Quaternary (the last 2.6 million years of geological time). Includes representatives from the departments of Geography, Plant Sciences, Earth Sciences, Archaeology and Zoology. Research areas include palaeooceanography, archaeology, geochronology, sedimentology, stratigraphy, palaeobotany, dendrochronology, micropalaeontology and palaeoecology. |
