Record #99759:

Design of a drill to work in a fluid filled hole / Bruce Koci.

Title: Design of a drill to work in a fluid filled hole / Bruce Koci.
Author(s): Koci, Bruce.
Date: 1989.
Publisher: [Grenoble]: [Laboratoire de Glaciologie et Géophysique de l'Environnement]
In: Ice core drilling : proceedings of the Third International Workshop on Ice Drilling Technology, Grenoble - France, 10-14 October 1988. (1989.),
Abstract: As core quality rather than hole closure limits maximum depth to which dry hole can be drilled, modular drill has been developed compatible with dry drill to work in fluid. Suggestions for drilling fluids and their relation to personnel, environment, and core quality are considered.
Notes:
