Record #99604:

Predicting North American Late Pleistocene archaeology using an optimal foraging model / Cynthia Zutter.

Title: Predicting North American Late Pleistocene archaeology using an optimal foraging model / Cynthia Zutter.
Author(s): Zutter, Cynthia.
Date: 1989.
In: Canadian Journal of Archaeology. (1989.), Vol. 13 (1989)
Abstract: Attempts to predict probable location of Late Pleistocene sites by formulating optimal foraging model based on reconstructed biomass quantities for vegetation and fauna of ice-free corridor region on western Canada, using studies in NW Yukon and SW Alberta. Assumes that most probable locations for human settlements will coincide with most productive areas.
