| Abstract: | In work presented in 1883 and published in 1894, McGee outlined main morphologic differences between glaciated valleys and valleys developed by other processes, and attempted to explain evolution of glacial landforms in terms of theoretical prediction of patterns of erosion under valley glaciers. Points out that McGee's methodology is still current. |
